Well I never, ever thought I would try to write an instrumental theme song to Hockey Night In Canada.
The race is now on to see who will walk away with $100,000.00 cash
plus 50% of all future royalties.

I am not convinced that any winning song will ever be accepted by the many fans who have
mourned the loss of the original song to TSN, but you never know.
