goes to sleep

VERSE ONE:

I can see, the light of a thousand angels shining down on me.
I can hear, a thousand angels calling out my name.
And I know, I know it’s time for me to go,
The winds of time have blown this way before.

CHORUS:

Take a few pills just to kill the pain,
Take a gunshot just like Kurt Cobain.
I really don’t care what you think of me,
I’ll take a few more just to set me free.
You really don’t know how I feel inside,
You really don’t know and you never really tired,
I’ll take a few pills then I’ll close my eyes,

Another life lives and another life dies.

NARRATION:

He takes the crushed pills and a glass of water and looks around the room
for one last time. As he walks towards the window he watches
as the sun sets slowly on the city skyline. With trembling hands,
he carefully mixes the pills and the water and slowly
raises the glass to his lips.
The bitter
taste of life eases from his body for he knows
 the end is near.
No more pain and suffering.
In the distance, he can hear angels calling out his name.
He lays down, closes his eyes and goes to sleep.

Just another pill and I’ll go to sleep,
Just another pill.
